Following the removal of a number of abandoned vessels from the Gippsland Lakes, Gippsland Ports, as Port Manager under the Port Management Regulations 2015, intends to dispose of three vessels in early 2024. The name, unique identifier and brief description of each vessel is as follows:

 

“Perelandra” Registration number NM 860.

18m Custom Steel Motor Cruiser, removed from Cunninghame Quay Lakes Entrance.

 

“Bounty” Registration Number GL 43

8m Fibreglass sailing boat, removed from private jetty, Eagle Point.

 

Kingfisher Registration Number G244

10m timber motor cruiser, sunk at Eagle Point Jetty

 

Gippsland Ports is currently searching for the owners of these vessels. If the owners do not make contact with Gippsland Ports, the full cost of towing and disposal including legal expenses will be recovered from them.
