DETAILS:
Mariners are advised that due to shoaling in Lewis Channel near the
Port Welshpool Long Jetty, a Starboard Lateral Mark Buoy No.19a
(Fl.G.2.5s) has been established at the following position;
Lat. 38° 42.356’ South
Lon. 146° 27.060’ East Datum WGS84
See attached Map reference.
Mariners are advised to take extra precaution when rounding No.19a
especially if other vessel traffic is in the area. The flash rate of No.19a
is not sequential to the other beacons in Lewis Channel and has a
different flash Character set at Fl.G.2.5s.
