Lakes Entrance – Entrance Leads altered to green light
DATE: 4 October 2016
DETAILS: Mariners are advised that following recent maintenance dredging by the Trailing Suction Hopper Dredge “Pelican” the Entrance Leads indicating the preferred transit line to cross the Lakes Entrance Bar have been altered from “Line 4” to “Green Light” The bearing of “Green Light” transit is 347°(T) to Flagstaff Hill Light (F.20m 5M).
Further details can be obtained from Gippsland Ports Lakes Entrance Office on 035156900. The latest Bathymetric Survey for the Lakes Entrance Bar can be downloaded from the Gippsland Ports Website www.gippslandports.vic.gov.au .
