Notice to Mariners

Location: Bullock Island channel – Lakes Entrance
DATE: 29 July 2021
DETAILS: Mariners are advised that, due to bridge upgrade works, the Bullock Island Channel will be closed while construction is in progress.
From the 1st of August, the Bullock Island channel will be completely closed to all vessels and watercraft while a temporary rock platform is installed across the waterway to allow construction of the new bridge.
An exclusion zone will be established around the construction site.
Mariners are advised to plan an alternative route taking into account tidal currents, weather conditions and other vessel traffic.
