Port of Anderson Inlet

Location: Anderson Inlet Channel

DATE:  28 November 2017

DETAILS:  Mariners are advised of alterations to navigation buoyage in the vicinity of Inverloch Jetty and the inner entrance of the Anderson Inlet Channel.

The No.2 Port Hand lateral mark buoy has been returned to service.

The No 6A Port Hand Lateral Mark buoy has been withdrawn from service

Alteration to buoy numbering and postions are :

No.2 Port Hand Buoy :         Lat. 38o 38.477’ S.    Long. 145o 43.433’ E.

No.3 Starboard Hand Buoy : Lat. 38o 38.255’ S.    Long. 145o 43.826’ E.

No.4 Port Hand Buoy :        Lat. 38o 38.239’ S.    Long. 145o 44.098’ E.

Datum : WGS84

Mariners are reminded of the dynamic nature of the seabed in this vicinity and that the channel, although marked, may be impacted by shoaling.
