DETAILS: Mariners are advised that on-water works to establish the Lakes Entrance Aqua Park will commence on Friday the 29th October 2021.
The Aqua Park will be situated east of the Footbridge, in the location previously occupied by Lakes Entrance Paddle Boats and Catamaran Hire.
In the first instance, a system of anchors and chains will be deployed which will remain on the seafloor until such time as the floating sections of the aqua park are due for installation later in 2021. Works will involve vessel and diving operations.
The anchor system will be established within the bounds of the following coordinates:
- Lat. 37° 52.853’S Long.147° 59.747’E Datum: GDA 2020
- Lat. 37° 52.841’S Long.147° 59.711’E Datum: GDA 2020
- Lat. 37° 52.818’S Long.147° 59.723’E Datum: GDA 2020
- Lat. 37° 52.817’S Long.147° 59.765’E Datum: GDA 2020
Mariners are advised to avoid the area described above and to navigate the surrounding waters with caution while works are occurring.
