DETAILS: Mariners are advised that Kina Diving Pty Ltd will be carrying out a native oyster seeding program beginning Monday 30th January between the hours of 08:00 and 17:00 for approximately four (4) days.
The location of the artificial reef and Dive Site is 500 metres west of Nyerimilang Jetty approximately midway between Nyerimilang Jetty and Harpers Bight and within 60 – 70 metres from the shoreline. See attached Dive Plan Data sheet.
The oyster spat will be deployed by Commercial Divers operating from Dive Vessel MV Hercules with a standby spotter/patrol vessel MV Kina 4 also on-site during dive operations. The vessels will be displaying Code Flag A during dive deployment operations. The Kina 4 will patrol an area within 150 metres of the dive site.
Mariners are requested to keep clear of the Dive Vessel MV Hercules during the hours indicated and to pass the site at slow speeds.
