Location: Aurora Channel – Ocean Grange Vicinity

DETAILS: Mariners are advised that all existing beacons, previously unlit, in the section of the Aurora Channel that leads to the Ocean Grange Jetty and further east to the Aurora Channel East Cardinal Mark at the confluence of the Steamer Channel, have now been lit.
Those beacons include;
Aurora #15G, #16R, #17G, #18R, #19G, #20R #21G, #22R, #23G, #24R, #25G, #26R, #27G #28R, #29G and #30R.
So as not to confuse the mariner the Ocean Grange approach channel has been lit with a different Flash Character than Steamer Channel.
Steamer Channel has a system of sequential (cascading effect) lights with a flash character of Fl.3s. The new lights marking the Aurora Channel to Ocean Grange Jetty and on to Aurora East Cardinal Mark have been synchronized (all lights flash at the same time) with a flash character of Fl.4s.
