Gippsland Ports regularly checks its piers and jetties to keep them safe for everyone.
After a recent inspection of Progress Jetty in Paynesville, essential maintenance work was identified, and a crew is now carrying out these works.
The outer part of the jetty might be closed to the public during this work. Visitors should follow safety signs and stay away from the work area.
The work is expected to be completed by September.
