Bullock Island Boatyard Services

Commissioned in 2005 and located on Bullock Island at Lakes Entrance immediately adjacent to the entrance channel to Bass Strait, the Bullock Island boatyard facility is ideally situated to provide services to larger vessels up to 100 tonne.

The boatyard travel lift can transport vessels up to 100 tonne whilst the powerful hydroblaster pressure cleaner makes quick work of cleaning hulls. The facility also houses a maintenance jetty for approved in-water works.

All boat slipping, lifting and re-launching activities are supervised by qualified personnel. The boatyard can also load/unload vessels to/from road transport and arrange launching of the vessel at the site.

The boatyard can provide limited in-house maintenance services, however, owners and/or contractors can perform maintenance tasks after completing induction training.

Bullock Island Boatyard Facilities

Travel Lift capable of lifting vessels up to 100 tonne, with a fitted 6 tonne jib crane available for stepping masts, engine lift outs etc.

Rates are offered for:

• lift out to cradle and re-launch
• lift out to customer trailer
• launch from customer trailer
• lift out - inspect - re-launch

Heavy duty jetty for in-water approved maintenance works.

Mobile Franna crane with 12 tonne SWL capacity.

Caterpillar 902 loader/fork lift

Abrasive blasting bay

Up to 8 large open air hard stand sites for out of water maintenance.

Powerful 6,000psi hydroblaster and 20m x 16m washdown bay for efficient environmentally friendly hull cleaning.

EPA approved waste water treatment plant.

Contaminated waste pump-out site.

Large shed available for lease.
